I remember a time when...my world shattered. My dreams shattered. And I was walking, sometimes barely crawling, in the dark. Nearly immobilized, picking up one foot off the ground at a time with a heaviness that tantalized me, I began to move. Slowly. Painfully. But, still I moved. The dark tunnel was long. The light at the end was so faint I could barely see it. But it was there and I knew that I had to embrace it - I chose it even when I couldn’t feel it. I knew that God saw me and wasn’t loosening his loving, strong grip upon my life.
