Beauty from the Ashes

I got my very first copy of Grand Traverse Woman Magazine today and so much excitement and gratitude is swirling around in my heart. All I can say is I AM HUMBLED by the opportunity to share my story — Beauty from the Ashes: My Journey of Transformation. My arms are wide open and my story is enormously transparent. I have swung from giddy highs to anxious lows during the process of opening up and writing more of my story for all to hear. But it’s mine. And as I say in my article, “My heart is full of joy, my life is filled with hope and my kids are thriving. I stand on my sacred ground and claim love above all else and I trust that love will be greater than any obstacle that comes my way.” Thank you, my friends, for being my village, my rock to stand on, my shoulder to cry on, my feet to dance with and my sunshine on cloudy days. I have the BEST friends a girl could ask for and an iron clad community with hearts of gold. YES. This is my story, these are my people and THIS is my very best life chapter yet. #thisisme ❤️
